134, 125, 116, 107, ??, 89

Ans: 98 i.e. 107 – 9 = 98
134, 134 – 9 = 125, 125 – 9 = 116, 116 – 9 = 116, 116 – 9 = 107, and so on.
Logic: Every number is previous number minus 9 and that is how the middle number or the number at 5th position will be identified.

Q2. Find the next number in the series is:

-618, -599, -580, -561, ??, -523

Ans: -542 i.e. -561 + 19 = -542
-618, -618 + 19 = -599, -599 + 19 = -580, -580 + 19 = -580, -580 + 19 = -561, and so on.
Logic: Every number is previous number plus 19 and that is how you can find out the number at 5th position.
